Ghost Lines Project

"Ghost lines" is a movement practice that uses an archival impulse to conjure a vaudevillian past.

As a project, it manifests in a variety of ways – through film, live art happenings, live performance, as photos, drawings, and an ongoing freestyle movement practice.

  • Live

Ghost lines live is a performance evening celebrating Vaudeville and its connection to Dada/Surrealism, experimenting with absurdity, non-sequitor timing, visual rhyming, and comedic rhythms.

Ghost lines will premiere on December 12-14th 2013 at Danspace Project in the New York City.  I will be joined by costume designer, Andrew Jordan; sound designer, Jake Meginsky; and award winning performers: Michelle Dorrance, Elizabeth Keen, Mina Nishimura, Eva Schmidt, and myself.
