Dear friends,

I am excited to announce that Ghost lines live will premiere at Danspace Project on December 12-14th, 2013!  

Ghost lines manifests in two segments: first, we will show a16mm b&w experimental film, created in collaboration with Shona Masarin and second, the premiere of six live interlocking ghost and shadow solos. For the premiere of the live performance, I will be joined by costume designer, Andrew Jordan; sound designer, Jake Meginsky; and award winning performers: Michelle Dorrance, Mina Nishimura, Kai Kleinbard, Eva Schmidt, Elizabeth Keen, and myself.

Last time, I was blown over by your support of Ghost line – the film. This time, I’m asking you to help me bring the film and live performance to Danspace for a fantastic evening of Dada magic!  

Danspace Project has commissioned this performance but, while generous, the commission only covers a third of the production costs. The project is being funded additionally through my own savings. I need to raise $6000 [to close the gap and get us to production week] out of my total budget of over $16,000. A pledge of any size will make a difference, and go towards production expenses including dancer fees, collaborator fees, rehearsal space and more. Please join us in creating this evening of illusion, shadowplay, and magic!  We’re counting on YOU!
